What can I create a story for?
Birthdays, bedtime, “I love you,” achievements, a first day of school, getting well, congratulations, thank you, just because, or something else that matters to your family.
Can I use this if I’m deployed or working abroad?
Yes. PapaEcho works from wherever you are — whether you’re deployed overseas, working offshore, or in a hotel room across the country. All you need is an internet connection to create a story. Once it’s ready, share it privately via link or download so your child can watch it at home.
Can I record my own voice, or choose a narrator?
You can do either. PapaEcho lets you record your own narration scene-by-scene so your child hears you directly. If recording isn't convenient while working away, you can also select from our warm available narrator voices. An adult reviews and approves the story before private sharing.
Can I include my child’s name and interests?
Yes. Add a nickname, interests, themes, and personal details that help shape the story. Use only information you are comfortable providing and avoid unnecessary sensitive details.
Can Papa, Mama, or a grandparent narrate?
Record your own narration scene by scene, or choose an available narrator voice. Use another person’s voice only with their permission.
Is the generated voice exact?
No. A generated or synthetic narration may not exactly reproduce a real person's voice.
How long does story creation take?
Story text, cinematic scenes, narration, music, and video rendering are prepared in stages, so creation can take a little time. The app shows progress as the story moves toward review.
Can I review the story before sharing it?
Yes. PapaEcho is designed for parent-guided creation and review before playback or private sharing.
Can I share the video privately?
Private sharing is part of the story experience where enabled. Adults decide who receives a story; PapaEcho is not an open discovery feed.
Is PapaEcho a social network?
No. There are no public child profiles, public comments, or open discovery feed.
What happens to the information I add?
Story inputs, voice choices, generated content, and related assets may be processed and stored to provide the service. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I request deletion?
Yes. Contact support@papaecho.app for privacy or deletion support.
How much does a story cost?
